Maragani Seaside Bed & Breakfast is set where are still visible traces of the ancient Sicilian civilization: 35 kilometers west there is the archaeological area of Selinunte, one of the most charming in the whole Mediterranean, whose temples are wonderful exempla of Doric architecture in Sicily.
30 kilometers west, on the road to Agrigento, there is the ancient town of Eraclea Minoa, founded in the VI century B.C. on a picturesque cape sticking out into the sea.
Our Seaside B & B is located on the furthest hill of the Corboj valley, at the mouth of the Corboj river.
All around the B&B the country is covered in vineyard, for hectares and hectares.
This area is renowned for its prestigious wines as those from Dispensa’s property or from Planeta’s Farm, just to mention only the most famous.
Traveling along the road SS624, in a few kilometers distance you will find the territory of Sambuca di Sicilia with is huge vineyards, while on the road to Menfi there is the Settesoli Wine Shop, which has been created for first in this area, almost 30 years ago, and has influenced cultural choices of an entire generation of farmers.
